Spring is around the corner

Although it is still a little bit cold and last week we had a lot of rain, the many many daffodils around us, seem to know that Spring is almost here. We also hear and see a lot of birds and other sorts of animals coming out of their 'winter routine'.

One bird in particular you can't miss when he/she is around. This is the barred owl which makes monkey noises and sometimes it even screames. First when we heard it, we thought like on Sint Maarten there were monkeys living in our yard. Luckily this isn't the case, but we think that these owls might sometimes give our future guests a scare as well. We are glad that they are not around all the time.

Anyway, we can't wait to see what this season will bring us further here in Clarksville.
