Our first visitors

Tomorrow our friends from Michigan, Gary and his wife Shirlene will stop by and see for themselves how we are doing or not doing LOL. M and I met Gary in 2016 in the Federal Archives Washington DC. We were both looking for information about our ancestors. His ancestors are from the Netherlands and so we met. Since then we kept in touch and he and Shirlene and friends visited us in 2019 in The Hague, and now they are almost here. We are looking forward seeing them again and give them a tour at Sunnyside. It's a primeur!

And the rest of the weekend? We will see and go with the flow.

Anyhow, we wish everyone a great weekend and hopefully warmer weather is coming your 'Dutch way'😄

Heheh. Today we had temperatures at least rising up into the high 50’s. That at least feels a bit like spring. I guess that’s nothing compared to what you guys have been having up to now if I’m not mistaken.

Yeah, the winters are long in The Netherlands, but nice to hear that the temps are getting higher....... Today it was chilly :-) around 65. But yes me liking the warmer weather, but what I like the most are the blue sky’s, sun and the wind. (windkracht 1 gemiddeld)
